MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - WORKER (FULL TIME), for our two Public Housing Apartment Complexes.  Job requirements interior/exterior custodial, maintenance, carpentry, painting, masonry, roofing, electrical, plumbing and other maintenance skills. Communication skills, inventory control skills, multi-tasking skills a must, and good public relations abilities. Three (3) years related experience required and HVAC experience is a plus.  Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and driver’s license.  

 

Must be able to travel out of town occasionally for meetings and training workshops.  Excellent benefits for full time position.

 

Salary Range: 33,000.00 – 37,000.00 yearly

PUBLIC HOUSING MANAGER (FULL-TIME)

The Public Housing Manager is responsible for managing the key occupancy functions including screening, marketing, lease enforcement, maintenance, rent collections, eligibility and resident relations. Identify ongoing and preventative maintenance issues and actively work to preserve your assets while also improving your NSPIRE scores.


Trains, motivates and evaluates performance of staff members. Recommends corrective action and discipline if necessary. Monitors compliance with federal regulations. Oversees development and modifications to policies and procedures documenting compliance of Housing and Services Program with federal requirements.


Job requirements will include clerical duties, computer skills with software experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and public relations skills.


Public Housing Manager (PHM) Certificate required Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Business or related field and five (5) years’ experience in public housing and supervising staff.


Must be able to travel out of town occasionally for meetings and training workshops. Excellent benefits for full time position. Salary Range $50,000.00 to $60,000.00
