EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT {FULL-TIME) The Housing Authority of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidates to fill the position of Executive Administrative Assistant. The Housing Authority manages 355 Public Housing units and 528 Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8).
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field, plus five (5) years of experience in Executive Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position Summary: The Executive Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, ensuring their daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves budget preparing, supervising staff, managing calendars, coordinating travel, handling communications, and organizing meetings, among other tasks.
Experience with Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Programs is desirable.
Must be able to travel out of town occasionally for meetings and training workshops. Excellent benefits for full time position.
Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000 Yearly

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - WORKER (FULL TIME), for our two Public Housing Apartment Complexes. Job requirements interior/exterior custodial, maintenance, carpentry, painting, masonry, roofing, electrical, plumbing and other maintenance skills. Communication skills, inventory control skills, multi-tasking skills a must, and good public relations abilities. Three (3) years related experience required and HVAC experience is a plus. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and driver's license.

Salary Range $37,000.00 to $41,000.00 Yearly

INSPECTOR (FULL TIME), to preform and document our initial, annual and special inspection for our Public Housing Program and Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program units. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, eligibility for coverage under our fleet auto insurance. Two years’ work experience in housing or building codes or construction. Job requirements will include clerical duties, computer skills with software experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and public relations skills. Certificate in Housing Quality Standards (HQS) or Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) training is a plus.
